"I began my first pregnancy in a doctor’s care. I moved to Oklahoma during my 5th month and decided to try out a midwife. Best decision I ever made. Each visit Heather and Tiffany spent time to explain to me what my daughter was doing, how she was developing, where she was placed (and I always got to feel too!), what anxieties I was feeling, how to naturally cure my pregnancy related issues and anything else we wanted to talk about. I never felt rushed at any appointment. It was more than the “doctor-patient” visits I’d experienced previously; it developed into a strong trust and friendship. I knew my care was safe because I wasn’t a number, I was a friend. They cared about me (and my daughter) as a person. I took childbirth classes from Heather and learned more about birth than most people who’ve had three kids. As a first time single mom, I was so lucky to understand the experience I was going through and to experience it with such professional and caring women. The care they showed during birth and post-natal was so valuable. My daughter is almost two and I consider Heather and Tiffany more like family in the sense that I know if I had a toddler related concern today I could call them up and they’d be more than happy to help.
