The following are not included in the fee:
- Lab Work
- An initial Prenatal Panel is required. Additional testing may be necessary.
- The lab will bill you directly or file with your insurance.
- Ultrasound
- One ultrasound is required between 22-25 weeks. I will give you the information needed to make an appointment to have this done.
- Doula services
Payment arrangements:
I have used a midwife for two of my own pregnancies and know that the finances to cover the expense do not appear just because I got pregnant. I am willing to work with you to achieve your desire for a home birth.
I require a $350.00 non-refundable deposit when care is started. I only take on three to four births a month and this deposit ensures that you will be one of them.
We will discuss how the remainder will be paid out by the 36th week of pregnancy.
I do not file with insurance companies.
